Hydroxyethyl cellulose

Depending on the desired viscosity of the final product cellulose from cotton linters or from wood pulp is used. We are only using wood  pulp from manufacturers who are certified according to sustainable management of the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).

Hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) are manufactured by the etherification of cellulose with ethylene oxide.
